This song got me through high school in the early 2000s. I had no one of my own in my life like everyone else did. I had to see everyone so happy, to the point I nearly wanted to cry. 21-22 years after discovering this movie and song, nothing has changed. Everyone is still happier than me, and I still don't have someone of my own in my life. "But the same old questions keep rolling back. Why can't I fall in love?"

I was such a bitch about this bitch that when I had all of her polydor CDs imported from England in the late 80s they had to have the 'MADE IN ENGLAND' stamp sticker on the case or id return them. This movie and soundtrack were an ENORMOUS part if my fall and winter '91. It wasn't a huge hit bix office wise, but we all knew this film and its music. Absolute classics.

sadly the movie did truly portray serious issues with the US education system and similar occurrences happened all over the country. Including my HS, it was rough. Back in the day this movie really spoke to me.
